Today I'll start to do this. As special I would present two special guest songs - I couldn't await to present this show.

With v-band.de we'll walk the traditional way. We'll create a compilation CD - with songs created by our members - and we'll do it as professional as possible.

We spend the complete CD production process and as well a distribution package to our members - and pay them out for each sold album or sold song!

I was very busy this week - that's why I had not enough time to make new music.

Next week I planned to get content for next podcast show - and maybe record and upload this show till Thursday next week - I hope my timing works for this.

The next show would include some tips for home recording and as well a game to win some small giveaways. I also decided to record this show with my homerecording equipment - so there is more personality at the show.

In the meanwhile I'll try to record a new song and put it to the community to play with it :-)

Eastern. I hate eastern. On Thursday and Friday there was no way to do a party anywhere. Music is forbidden on Friday. So I went into the studio and worked a bit on the rooms, cleaned them up, moved some furnitures and tried out some settings on the technical equipment :-)

On Saturday, Sunday and Monday I met with some friends - and I also took some hours to ride my motorcycle - I enjoyed this very much :-) Top speed on Monday was about 270 km/h (about 167mph) :-)

Now eastern is gone, this week I have to do some administrative stuff for the company, but I should have enough time to do some musical stuff.

Well, today I don't have something new to tell, nothing exciting. Yesterday we had again a small outage of our content-management system which ends in a broken main-page for about 5 minutes.

I quickly developed a workaround to the problem (it was still based on a database issue) and cached some files till changes on the content happen.

Now it's working fine - and I hope to solved the problem for a while.

The net2ftp interface still got a problem with unzipping files. I don't hate anything more than waiting for a support request. In my company all employees are trained to send a first response within 24hours to an incoming support request. Also if no sultion is found for a problem, a small information is a must.

I love the webbased tool for FTP but there's a small configuration issue with the unzip functionality.

Unzip and Upload-and-Unzip is currently not working, so I deactivated unzip till I found the problem. It's not possible to deactivate the Upload-and-Unzip feature - so you shouldn't use it to save your time.

Another cool feature of v-band.de is getting setupped. To make it easier for new users to handle the file upload I decided to setup a Web-FTP Interface, which is usable to access the public ftp-servers of v-band.de.

The tool is powered "net2ftp" and is based on the GNU license.

What's new on v-band.de? Well, we had some technical issues in the past with displaying pages with our content management system (which is developed by us).

Sometimes our servers went down as the database was not ready to work on the incoming requests... I hope we fixed this problem now - and if not, we'll work on this in the future :-)
